Recently, folks who are considering Hearth & Story Complete Fifth Grade have been asking questions about its affordable price. Some homeschoolers check in with me to make sure they’ve actually added the correct item to their cart, incredulous that they can download novel studies, short stories, poetry, flashcards, spelling, writing, grammar, and Brain Food for the cost of ordering a pizza. As any homeschool parent knows, finding high-quality, comprehensive resources that also happen to be affordable can feel like trying to spot a unicorn.

That's why I'm thrilled to offer Hearth & Story Complete Fifth Grade for just $25. You might wonder why I would set such a low price for a complete, rigorous, secular, and beautifully crafted program. The inspiration comes from an unlikely place: my son’s alma mater, Arizona State University (ASU).
ASU has pioneered a game-changing initiative called Universal Learner. This set of online courses are available to dual credit and college students worldwide for only $25 each. Students who successfully complete a course can choose to pay an additional fee for college credit, which I highly recommend. But for those simply looking for affordable courses to add to their homeschool curriculum, $25 is an unbeatable deal.
When I first learned about ASU’s program, I was struck by its accessibility and value. If a major state university like ASU can offer a plethora of courses at such an affordable price, why couldn’t I do the same for my homeschool community? Inspired by ASU’s model, I decided to make my language arts curriculum affordable for all.
Homeschooling should not be a financial burden. My goal is to ensure that as many families as possible can experience the joy of a comprehensive, visually appealing language arts education without breaking the bank. I believe that every child deserves access to high-quality learning materials, regardless of their family's financial situation.
Hearth & Story is more than just affordable—it's designed with the flexibility, depth, and visual appeal that homeschooling families cherish. It provides a robust foundation in literary analysis, writing, and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore and express their ideas creatively and thoughtfully. It’s not just about meeting educational standards; it’s about fostering a lifelong love of learning.
So, why $25? Because education should be inclusive, not exclusive. Because every child should have the opportunity to explore, discover, and grow through a rigorous and engaging language arts program. By making Hearth & Story affordable, I hope to bring language arts joy and success to as many homeschool families as possible.
