At Hearth & Story, we deliver our digital downloads straight to your inbox! No need to worry about shipping costs or wait times. Our products are available for download immediately after purchase. Due to recent changes at older email providers, Yahoo, Verizon, AOL, and Hotmail are delaying order confirmation/download emails for some online purchases. To avoid unnecessary delays, we recommend using an email address such as Gmail when placing your order. If you must use a Yahoo, Verizon, AOL, or Hotmail email, please contact us if your order does not arrive within 24 hours. We can manually send your download, but this process may take 1–2 business days.
Return Policy
Since all our products are digital downloads, there is no way to return a product once purchased, and we are not able to offer refunds. To make sure Hearth & Story is right for you, you can download a large free sample. Just scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Free Sample" section.

Duplicate Component Refund Policy
We can't offer refunds or credits for duplicate purchase (e.g., buying 4th Grade Writing and returning later to purchase Complete 4th Grade, which also includes 4th Grade Writing). If you contact us at info@hearthandstory.com before placing the second order, we can provide a custom coupon code to deduct the cost of the item you already purchased. For example, if you buy 4th Grade Writing and then later decide to purchase Complete 4th Grade, we can send you a code that subtracts the cost of 4th Grade Writing from your total.

Exact Duplicate Purchase Refunds
If you accidentally purchase the exact same product twice (e.g., two copies of Complete 5th Grade), we can issue a refund for the duplicate order. However, because payment processors do not return their fees to us, a $5 administrative fee will be deducted from your refund to cover these non-refundable costs. To avoid this, please check your order history before purchasing.
